ABOUT THE DARK SIDE In 2001, The Dark Side was established. We were an organization that went where no one dared to go -- against a club board. Our first event had a profit of 800 dollars. We added 200 to the pot and gave $500 to the Alzheimer's Respite of Hilton Head and $500 to start a bank account for the about to be formed Coastal Empire Region of PCA. In 2008, the Dark Side returned to its original roots -- once again giving to charity.  Our November 2008 event was dedicated to the "Driving to Success," program -- for the Boys & Girls Club of Hilton Head Island, SC. On the Saturday, Bill Charlton, our classroom instructor gave a special DE class for them, then we feed them lunch and invited our participants to line up their cars in pit row so a child could jump into their car for a family parade. There were plenty of Kodak moments to be had and, well, just good fun.  We have continued to give to charity and enjoy the B&G Club showing up on our Saturdays.
